About Us
DnA Steak and Grill is the labour of love of chef David and hospitality manager Alberto.
This partnership was formed after discussing the need for a great steak house that offered quality and flavour in a warm and welcoming environment.
After the setbacks of a global pandemic, DnA Steak and Grill welcomed its first diners in May 2021. Located in the heart of Towcester, Northamptonshire, DnA Steak and Grill serves traditional and flavoursome steaks and fish with a twist of international flavours.
Head Chef/Owner – David Horak
Czech born David found his calling early, starting his career at 17 years old. Having worked in Prague for a Michelin Star chef, David’s desire to explore international cuisine took his around the world before settling in the UK. Having worked in a number of highly regarded restaurants and hotels including Fawesley Hall and The Folly Towcester, David continued his professional development by working alongside Michelin Star chef Adam Bennett at The Cross in Kenilworth.
Using techniques learned from his years of experience, David expertly blends international flavours with the best of British produce to create dishes that are perfectly balanced.
Restaurant Manager/Owner – Alberto Ribeiro
Alberto started his hospitality career in his home country of Portugal, working as front of house in the Algarve before moving to England in 1994. Naturally warm and welcoming, Alberto was invited to join the management training programme of a national hotel chain, becoming one of the youngest restaurant managers within the business. A move to Towcester saw Alberto become the landlord of The Bull pub where his reputation for seamless management and making customers feel at ease created a community feel that extended beyond the pub.
From the comfortable seating to the selection of wines and beers on offer, Alberto has created a relaxed dining experience in the heart of Towcester.
